The drive was relatively uneventful and both kids were great! I was in some back discomfort yesterday, but managed to get a great night's sleep, which helped immensely!
We spent just over 15 hours in the car together and didn't kill each other!!! I have learned that we will be staying in Suites hotels from now on though whenever possible... two queen beds and a couch worked great for everyone to get good rest... and be happy to make the second leg of the trip...
I have also been able to establish a wi-fi network and hook up our Vonage phone to my father in law's DSL connection... so we're back up tech wise too!
I feel like we're going to be hitting the ground running ... and just stay that way - tomorrow Robyn and I have hair appointments - my first hair cut in 2 YEARS (come back tomorrow for the whole scoop with b4 and after shots) and Wayne has to write an abstract for a paper he got accepted...
Saturday, I'm heading out with my mom and sister to pick up my sister's wedding dress! This should be a tonne of fun, because I won't get to see her actual wedding... but at least I will have a good mental picture...
It's going to be an action packed 4 weeks - and somewhere in there, I will be shopping for all the goodies for my Canadian Treats give away... if you haven't entered ... click here
