Good News, Bad News proposition

Well... the good news is I will have about 3 hours of almost uninterrupted time to work on some of my book reviews for the blog and catch up on some me time on Monday...

The bad news is that, unfortunately, I will be sitting at the local Labcorp office taking my 3 hr glucose tolerance test... I failed the 1 hour by inches... so there is hope for me to pass this time, however I don't think it's likely, given my history with GD...

Hope your plans for Monday are better than mine and that you are having a marvelous weekend!

I'm going to get some great exercise this weekend - power shopping with Robyn for school supplies and uniform clothes with the multitude of other Tax Free weekend shoppers... and maybe convincing Wayne and Liam to shop briefly for the things they need... clothes and shoes...

Stop by tomorrow for a long overdue Sunday Family Story... I'm working on another great story about my Nana to share...

I'm also participating in

and planning a stop at the Lady Bloggers Tea Party Social

If you're new to Acting Balanced, please pull up a chair and stay a while ....

if you want to get to know more about me, check out these three posts...

Well first of all CONGRATULATIONS on expecting but second...so sorry you have to take the 3 hour test. I just did my one hour last week (passed thankfully), and there is nothing worse than having to drink that solution! Good luck with the 3 hour...I'll be sending happy thoughts that you pass your way :)
My recent post 28 weeks and P3 is looking great!
Stopping by from LBS tea party. Good luck with your test!

I enjoyed reading your post about how your "old school" paper journals always devolved into laundry lists after they weren't "fresh" and new any more. I know exactly what you mean. I have a drawer full of old, unfinished journals, too! Enjoy your weekend.
My recent post No Photos- Please!
Visiting from LBS and I love that you list 3 posts to "get to know you" for new visitors - that's so friendly, easy and welcoming - thanks! (Now I feel guilty about my own posts :)

Enjoy that tax-free shopping --- I'm jealous! Although I've started doing more of my shopping online, and using Ebates (http://tinyurl.com/22sw6u6) for the cash back and discount codes for free shipping which makes everything a little more affordable ;-)
