I am all about fresh fruit these days, and this simple recipe from my good friend, Joe, the Chef at WWRecipes is simple and adds just enough flair to the peaches to make them extra yummy!
Balsamic Peaches
6 peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced into thick wedges
3 Tbs (45 ml) balsamic vinegar
3 Tbs (45 ml) brown sugar
1/2 tsp (2 ml) freshly ground pepper, or to taste
Combine all the ingredients in a non-metallic bowl and toss to
combine. Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving. Serve
with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired. Serves 4 to 6.
