As I mentioned last week, one of the things we are seriously considering as a family is taking a trip over the holidays this year... options keep popping up every time we mention this to friends and family and one option that is sounding better and better is Kissimmee, Florida...
Kissimmee offers a wide variety of cool attractions, not to mention a great way to do Disney on a budget... Disney isn't the only thing for a family to do there, either.
There's a ton of great family friendly things to do for all ages without hitting the Big Mouse... some of the things I found on the Kissimmee website are:
Hiking, Biking and Horseback riding - Robyn has been after me for years to take her horseback riding and this might be the perfect opportunity!
Liam, with his fascination for all things reptilian might enjoy a trip to Gatorland... the Alligator Capital of the World.
Another cool adventure would be to check out Kissimmee downtown and wander through the Kissimmee Sculpture Experience, which we could combine with some shopping... cause you can never go on vacation without shopping...
There are hundreds of possibilities - everything from golf and mini golf to water parks, shopping and fine dining! You can intersperse great, fun attractions and adventures with the big ones like Sea World and Universal Studios and still have a great, affordable family vacation!
What would you do on a trip to Kissimmee?
