Product Review and Giveaway - Bisquick Gluten Free prize pack

Most of you know that Liam has gluten sensitivities, so we try to avoid gluten in baking and situations where he'd like to partake with us... He's not a big fan of pancakes, but he does love tea biscuits, shortcakes and other yummy baked goods that we often use Bisquick for, so I was so excited to find out that Bisquick now has a gluten-free option!

I was even more excited to find out that MyBlogSpark was offering a Bisquick Gluten Free prize pack that included a box of Bisquick Gluten Free baking mix, a pancake pan, pancake pen and a pancake flipper for bloggers to try and also to share one with one lucky reader!

Of course, I signed up and got the prize pack... My daughter loves the Pancake Pen - to doodle pancake batter into the pancake pan :)

Since Liam doesn't eat pancakes, we checked out the online recipes available at www.bisquick.com/glutenfree and found a cool recipe that our whole family could enjoy:

We made them and you couldn't tell that they were gluten free - the texture and taste were great!  I will tweak the recipe when we make it again... use sharper cheddar and fresh garlic rather than garlic powder, but it is so wonderful to have the option of making family faves gluten free for our family :)

If you're looking to try Gluten Free Bisquick, you can visit http://www.myblogspark.com/uc/main/8b49/ to download a printable coupon for $1 off Bisquick Gluten Free baking mix!

Or you can win a Bisquick Gluten Free prize pack that includes a box of Bisquick Gluten Free baking mix, a pancake pan, pancake pen and a pancake flipper.  This giveaway ends on October 27th at 11:59pm and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter!

Oh wow - this is amazing news! I live in a small town and haven't seen this hit the grocery stores yet, but I can hardly wait! You can do so much with Bisquick and I miss the ease of that!

I really miss biscuits. Out of all the things you can do with this product, I just really, really want to make plain 'ol biscuits - a warm flaky biscuit to swipe a little butter and honey onto. Mmmm...

I did check out their site though and those cheese balls look fantastic as well. :D
