I received this cool Polar bear and Penguin coverall in a 3 mos size to review! It's part of Organically Grown's new holiday line of infant and toddler clothes.
I couldn't believe how soft it was when i first got it! It felt so wonderful to the touch that I worried about washing it and destroying that beautiful soft,silky feel. Of course the first time I put it on Erik, he spit up all over it - even before I had a chance to take pictures of my adorable model... so into the wash it went! It washed up beautifully and is still just as soft and wonderful as when I first opened it - it's become a favorite outfit around here, so it's been washed twice more in just over a week and it's still holding up beautifully.
The embroidery and appliqué are stylish and don't feel sharp, like some other ones can be. The design doesn't scream Christmas, but does have a holiday/winter theme that will last through January and February (if it fits that long - see below) The other thing I love is that you can unsnap the legs without having to undo the body!
As for fit, this outfit seems to fit a little on the lean and long side - Erik's long arms fit really well, but being a big guy, his slightly bulky thighs are a little tight to fit. Now, he's a 7 week old chunky monkey at over 14 lbs and this 3 months size may last him UNTIL he's 3 months but no longer... Erik has gotten so many compliments on his new coveralls - and your kids will too, when sporting Organically Grown childrensware!
