Are you turning up the heat on your game day menu?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.

TABASCO® Original Red is one of those key ingredients that no kitchen should be without.  TABASCO® Original Red is not about heat for heat's sake.  It's about what heat does to the flavor of food.  The simple combination of salt, red pepper and vinegar are perfected in a 3-year aging process that produces a hot sauce with the uncanny ability to bring the most out of food.  Other hot sauces add their own specific flavor to food. TABASCO® Original Red simply enhances the flavor of food!

I personally love TABASCO® Original Red as part of my wings and tacos, but the TABASCO® Original Red have bumped it up a notch with Pizza Perfected, as part of their Game-Day Party Menu!

One of their great ideas on the Pizza Perfected link is to take a frozen cheese pizza and turn it into this:

pizza

Buffalo Chicken Pizza: Toss cooked chicken with Original TABASCO® Sauce, and place on cheese pizza. Top with sliced celery and blue cheese for fire wing flavor on pizza. Bake.

and they have ten more great ideas, just for frozen pizza, not to mention what you can do with homemade or delivery pizzas!

Not having pizza for your Super Bowl party? There are lots of great dip, chili and other fabulous recipe ideas on the Game-Day Party Menu page!  Whatever you're serving you can make it "so much more than hot" with TABASCO® Original Red

I can't eat anything real hot but do use TABASCO® Original Red in some of my food but only a little. lol
It is great on greens so New Year's dinner includes this sauce.
This might sound odd, but I like Tabasco red on hash browns. It grosses my dh out, because he can't stand spicy foods, let alone at breakfast.
But I love adding Tabasco red to my omelets and hashed browns.
It's not gross, we do the same thing. :)
THIS has become a staple at our house (not for me, I am a mess stomach-wise (thus the Prilosec entries...haha) but my hubby has copious amounts of this stuff on his omelets, pretty much all meats now, and didnt even notice it a bit on the wings with last Sunday's Packer game. It was so hot I couldn't SPIT and he didnt even flinch! He has been teaching the next generation too, as our youngest loves it too now!
(I THINK they have a great twitter or facebook campaign on now too...maybe a really nice prize for Superbowl Sunday? )
I use the Tobasco Original but only in very small quantities because I like some heat, but in moderation. Unlike hubby, who doesn't consider something spicy-hot enough unless his eyes water and he coughs, lol!
