Big G Hot Wheels Review and Giveaway

As a kid I always had to fight for the prize in the cereal box with my brother and sister - there was strategy to eating all the way to the end of the box and being the lucky one to get the prize... Then cereal companies started getting away from putting anything but cereal in the box - you'd have to send away for whatever you wanted and it took multiple boxes and multiple codes to get it... well never fear, Big G Cereals and Hot Wheels have teamed up and one lucky winner will share in the bounty that I received and have 5 Hot Wheels pull back racers from five different cereal boxes to share with their kids or hoard for themselves!

Starting January 24th, inside each participating cereal box (Cheerios^® 14 oz, Cinnamon Toast Crunch^® 17 oz, Lucky Charms^® 16 oz, Reese’s Puffs^® 18 oz, and Cookie Crisp^® 15.6 oz), you’ll be able to “gas and go” with one of four custom-designed collectable Hot Wheels^® pullback racers. Each car contains a code to unlock an exciting online racing game. 

As part of a MyBlogspark promotion, I received one of each of the specially marked boxes of cereal ... and the best part ... (after the yummy free cereal of course) is that the toy is at the TOP of the box!!! Talk about instant gratification :)

Now Robyn isn't all that into pullback racers, but Liam, my little car fanatic, is over the moon!  Who knew that little die cast cars from cereal boxes would make him so happy?  General Mills of course - they're the ones who have set this up and brought back memories of cereals past and delighted my little boy.

What Robyn is into is the yummy cereal that came with the Hot Wheels racers... she's even gone so far as to have breakfast for dinner on the day the package arrived and she's working her way through the Cookie Crisp and Reese's Puffs with some side trips to the other three cereals
