MeMoves Review and #Giveaway - Your second chance to enter! #Autism

Your first introduction to MeMoves on my blog came from the co-founder of the program, Roberta Scherf and can be found here.  I was excited to try this product out because one of Liam's biggest issues is getting over stimulated and angry and I thought that MeMoves might just be something that could help us get things under control!

The first time I loaded the MeMoves DVD, I thought about how much like a modified version of Tai Chi it is.  You use your hands to create patterns that are set to music and each movement is designed to help center you and bring calm, joy or focus!

Liam really likes how the actions and people change on the DVD and I really like how calm he gets.

We have been doing the Calm section repeatedly to learn it, as we're still doing it somewhat hand-over-hand with him, but as he gets better at these routinesI definitely want to try out Joy and Focus!

We've also been trying out the CD more recently and it is GREAT for the car!  When Liam becomes more independent with the movements I can also see us starting to use the flash cards that come with the set too - making this a truly versatile program for helping Liam calm down.  Every time we use it together I see more results - I can't wait until he's ready to try it on his own!

I am also sharing my copy with Liam's Preschool Intervention Teacher - I think that all of the kids in her class can benefit - and it only takes a minute or two per routine!  You can combine them, repeat them or just do the one routine and see some results!

Amazing that such a short viseo can help ease the stress of a child living with Autism. I would love to try this even with my own children.

This looks like a great product and I hope I will get to win a copy. My son has alot of sensory issues and he jumps alot so I believe the movement would really help him. Plus I can get my oldest to do it too.

I think this would be great to do with both my boys. I would probably follow her pattern mentioned in the video and do in am and pm, before bed to calm from the day!
My recent post Treatment Tuesday–Medication!
I'd like to win this for our local library - so many people come to the library looking for direction when their child has been diagnosed with autism and it would be great to share this great product with everyone!
