#Giveaway and Review - Pull-ups and Target Team up for BIG KID CALLS #MOMSPARKMEDIA #PullUpsDisneyCalls

Many of you who regularly read my blog know that Liam is struggling with potty training - we're still in a holding pattern were he goes through the motions but doesn't actually use the toilet for anything more than a practice exercise... so when I heard about Big Kid Calls, a new program being offered by Pull-Ups and Target to help encourage kids to use the potty, I was all for it!

You can go to bigkidcalls.com or bigkids.mobi (mobile) and check out the cool calls from either Cinderella or a member of Lightning McQueen's pit crew!  You can also set you a call schedule so that your child can experience the thrill of receiving their call when you know it's a good time!

Liam listened to the calls and was really interested in the fact that he'd gotten a call from a 'real race car' - with his Autism, I think he missed some of the call's message - but he was really happy about getting it - and that it was a special call just for him.  The call lasted just long enough for him to be excited and interested.  For us, it wasn't a true motivator, but I think that with other kids, this could be a really useful tool in the potty training arsenal!  One of the things that has come out of the call is that he has  taken more ownership of his pull-ups because he talked to the 'race car'!

I also listened to the princess calls, which were very sweet and if you have a child who likes princesses then they will definitely be motivated by the calls!

Target and Pull-ups are offering a $25 Target GC as a giveaway prize for one lucky Acting Balanced reader from the US!

I think this is a very, very good idea for those parents struggling with potty training their kids. I know I had a very hard time with my son.
This would be perfect for graduation from preschool- a Cars congratulation!

I like that you can Reward your child with a fun call from one of their favorite Disney characters after they go potty. Cinderella would be our choice, thanks.

I like that you can schedule a call to your cell phone for a more realistic experience.
What a great "reward" for potty training! I tried using sticker books with my kids, they would get a fresh page of stickers with each successful potty. This would certainly be cheaper and maybe even more exciting for them.
My grandson would love the call from Lightening McQueen!

I think these are a great idea and a great incentive for kids! Unfortunately, my granddaughter is a little too young for the calls right now -- I hope they have them when she's ready!

I like that the phone call makes the kid feel special and is characters that are currently relevant.
I really like the idea of the calls as it will provide a big thrill to the child and I believe will also provide extra motivation to that child.

Oh, I'm sure one of the characters could get my daughter to poo on the potty. She refuses for me though.
I like that you can schedule the call and also choose a Cars character or a Disney princess to call to encourage kids in potty training.
Oh I wish I had known about something like this with my older 2! I think getting a call from Lightning McQueen or one of the Disney Princesses would have made my child's day and really helped with potty training.

What a great idea! Using positive reinforcement when potty training is huge. These calls should be fun and rewarding for the kids...
