... and I won't start with the Moscato
Once again I have been offered the opportunity to review a bottle of Flip Flop Wine - this time it was a bottle of their Moscato, which is a lightly floral, sweet wine from California. My parents are in town, so I thought it was a good time to get their opinions on the wine. My dad who is a die-hard full bodied red kind of guy liked it for it's dessert possibilities - with a sharp cheese and some apple pie... my mom, on the other hand is finishing off the bottle - she's definitely a sweet white wine connoisseur.
I'm somewhere in the middle - I rarely meet a wine that I don't like. And I really liked this Moscato as something I'd share around the pool or on the deck with the girls and some yummy spicy appetizers. I think for me it's too sweet to be a dinner wine, but it definitely gets high marks as a dessert or sipping wine!
This wine reminds me of spring - sweet, light and fun with lots of promise. If that's what you're looking for then you are looking for Flip Flop Moscato!
One of the things I like about the entire collection of Flip Flop Wines is that they are reasonably priced and ship to almost everywhere in the US, so I can have it delivered right to my door!
