There was a time when I felt really old. I'd walk into one of my kids schools and start talking about the Smurfs and no one, save the teachers, would know what on earth I was talking about...After being out of the rotation for a while, the lovable Smurfs are back and Smurfs: A Magical Smurf Adventure is just one of the many choices you have for your smurfing pleasure.

Gargamel, the local evil wizard, is forever scheming against the tiny team but our little friends outsmurf him every time! My Review: This collection is a random smattering of episodes and if you are smurfing for some adventure, you may find this DVD a little tame, but if you're looking to introduce your kids to the Smurfs and their world then this 2 DVD set is a great place to start. The Smurfs follow their standard format in all of these episodes - which is cute, but can become tiresome if you are Smurfing a marathon... I would recommend watching an episode or two at a time rather than taking on the whole Smurfing thing...
There are a couple of cute bonus features - a highlights type one and Smurf Speak that will get the kids giggling...
This isn't one of those DVD's that is going to go on your top ten list, but it will make your preschoolers giggle and you feel nostalgic for a simpler and bluer time... and at only $15.99 on Amazon.com it's worth the investment.
