Presenting: Ocha Baby!

I love finding new and exciting clothing options and I found this one at a place I'd never expected, my son Erik's KinderMusik class in Charleston!  It's a new venture called Ocha Baby.

About Ocha Baby:

Once upon a time, two Charleston mothers were having difficulty finding unique, quality, personalized organic baby clothing, so they decided to create their own.
Inspired by non-toxic, eco-friendly materials, Susan Sellers and Holly Clayson experimented dyeing organic cotton with several varieties of tea. Sellers and Clayson also wanted to embellish their hand-dyed creations with something imaginative and one-of-a-kind. Moved by the warm colors from the tea-dyeing process, the pair took their original idea to a whole new level by incorporating initials fashioned out of vintage baby blankets….and Ocha Baby was born.
Ocha, the sacred Japanese word for tea, seemed like the perfect name for such a special handmade design. Since no two garments are exactly alike, the Ocha Baby label offers parents a natural, unique way to dress their precious little ones.
I got to see this chamomile tea dyed long sleeve onesie today and I have to say that these cotton onesies are the softest little things.  I love the natural color that the tea dyes them - it's rich and creamy - perfect for baby's skin!  The vintage blanket embellishment is such a personal way to reuse a blanket and share that link between past and future.

The only thing I wish is that they'd expand their line to toddler sizes, since Erik is now wearing at least a 2T, although the sizing did seem fairly generous on the one that I saw.

Ocha Baby onesies would make a perfect shower gift, christening present or a just because gift!  It will be a onesie that you will treasure forever.
