Meet Me on Monday

It's been several weeks since Java at Never Growing Old posted a set of Meet Me on Monday questions, but I've been missing it - so I've decided to resurrect the idea and starting today I'll be posting 5 questions on Sunday evening along with a linky for you to link up your post answers!

Here are today's Questions:

1. Are you planning anything for Valentine's Day?
2. What song automatically popped into your head when you saw this question?
3. What did you have for breakfast today?
4. Where do you keep your keys?
5. Who was your favorite teacher from when you were in school?

Answer them on your blog and link up - or answer them in the comment section below -

My answers:
1. Are you planning anything for Valentine's Day?
Apparently I have committed myself to making the red velvet cake I posted for MMMmondays and thanks to my parents, Wayne and I will be heading out for a romantic night out on Wednesday night.

2. What song automatically popped into your head when you saw this question?
Consequence Free by Great Big Sea...

3. What did you have for breakfast today?
Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwiches

4. Where do you keep your keys?
I used to keep them on the counter until Erik got tall enough to reach them... now I'm hunting for a new safe place - he gets into my purse so that's not an option either...

5. Who was your favorite teacher from when you were in school?
My favorite teacher was Mr. Riggs - he taught 4th grade and he was also the choir master and drama club coordinator.  The year I was in 6th grade we actually performed a play that he had co-written with another teacher, called The Lucky Penny.  Mr. Riggs wasn't the easiest teacher I ever had, but he worked hard at making lessons fun and he was great at classroom management and making us all feel special...

And now, please link up your post!

Thanks for hosting.. have been missing doing meet me on monday posts.
I have missed Java so much! I hope that everything is OK for her and her family.

My husband and I had discussed something to keep it going for her while she was away, but I didn't have a clue how to go about it. I'm glad that you did. :)

I will participate. Thanks!
Thanks for resurrecting this. I've missed it too.

I love reading these! Good song. Had never heard that one before. Have a wonderful Monday!
Hello Heather,
I am so happy to see you doing this. I've missed it, too and have checked on previous Mondays to see if Java had done one.
By the way, I love peanut butter/banana sandwiches, too.

My recent post Happy Valentine's Day: Love Yourself
Well done for getting on with this, and thanks for visiting my blog to let me know. Valentine's was yesterday and we had a super-busy day crafting and cooking with hearts! I will always love you was the song - on lots of minds right now I guess. Breakfast was a croissant and berries with a good strong coffee. Keys - on a hook in the hall. Teacher, Mrs Lofkin, french teacher, very caustic sense of humour - my role model I think!
Thanks for starting again and sharing! :) I'm looking forward to tomorrows! :)
