Wow... I just had a strange and surreal experience.
I was on the phone with the rep for Scholastic Book Fairs in our area and she told me that they have an opening for a job that I would love to have... so I went looking for my resume to update and organize... the last time I dusted it off was....
2003!!!
I've been a Never-Stay-At-Home Mom since moving the US in 2005 and I haven't had a reason to update my resume since then... prior to that I had been working for the same company for two years...
Figuring out how to fill in my work history with volunteer, paid and blogging positions was fun and educational... I realized just how much I've been contributing to the world as a never-stay-at-home mom... and it feels good to get it all down on paper.
I don't know if it'll translate to actually getting an interview for this job, but I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed that they'll actually like what they read...
Please keep good thoughts for me...
