My answers:

1. What movie or movies do you have to watch when they are on TV? (submitted by @rndmcrftyGAgrl)

I always watch the Brat Pack 80's movies - Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, St. Elmos Fire.... Oh and Grease!

2. When you have out of town visitors, what fun places do you take them to in your town?  (Or where do you play tourist in your own town?)

I always take people to the SC Aquarium, shopping on King Street/Market, to the Beach in the summer and usually to one of the wonderful plantations we have here...

3. What was the first album, CD, Download you ever bought?

It was a long time before I bought albums for myself... my dad is a huge music fan and collector so I let him buy most things and I just made mixed tapes from his collection... but I the first thing I bought with my own money was the Bon Jovi Slippery When Wet album on cassette.

4. Do you speak more than one language and which ones?  If not, what language would you like to know?

I actually took French right through University but since it's been 15 years since I used it, I have to say that it's incredibly rusty... I'd love to brush up on my French and learn German at some point in my lifetime...

5. What is your dream job?

I have to say that I have my dream job... but if you'd asked me when I was young I would never have guessed it... I love being a Never-Stay-At-Home Mom... and I sort of dread the time when Erik goes to school full time and I have to head back into the workforce... unless I can make enough money to put Robyn through college with my blog... I can dream right?

so do we... it's one of the best investments I've made... we bought our membership before we even moved here... we were on a scouting trip for our first place and bought our aquarium membership before we did anything else.
I love the SC aquarium, if you are referring to the one in Charleston. I've been twice, and would love to go again!

Thanks for hosting this fun meme :)
I remember listening to Jon Bon Jovi when I was much younger.. those were the days.. I hope you land your dream job too!!

We live in Charleston too but I'm not a fan of the Aquarium. It's about the only thing I've never visited around here in 30 years! I still love going downtown, especially the Market, but mostly I enjoy people watching! We live in a great place to do that, don't we? :) When our daughters were in elementary school there was a Charleston unit in second grade and we took 7 field trips every single year we had a second grader...that would be times 4 for us! That sort of did it for me on the touristy stuff. Our oldest had her wedding at the Legare-Waring House and that was gorgeous even though Charles Towne Landing was one of those 7 field trips. LOL So glad you are hosting this!

The SC aquarium sounds like it would be fun.

We have an aquarium, but there are other things I take people to first. Good questions this week.
Seems with the music question, I'm not the only one dating myself....
Charleston is my favorite city to visit...we've stayed near the Aquarium but never visited...I love the old town most, just walking and looking....we were there last March.
I remember those movies and did enjoy them....Pretty Woman and Sleepless in Seattle are movies I never get tired of but I have the DVDs...these days I'm watching movies on Netflix via my laptop....
Thanks for hosting each week, Heather.

I took German in 9th grade. Then, after getting the only grades below "C" in my high school career...well, in my entire educational career, I switched to French! ;)

You mentioned some movies I have not seen for awhile. I wonder if I can see them on Netflix!

Happy Monday
I loved being a SAHM wish I could still do it. Although with mine being in school full time seems silly! lol Thanks again for hosting! :)
