April is Autism Awareness Month!

Like most families who have been touched by Autism Spectrum Disorders, we live Autism Awareness 24/7 and 365 (or 366 this year) but we get an opportunity to shine an international spotlight on all things Autism for  those who may not be directly in it's line of sight, so for the month of April I will be posting a variety of things - book reviews, product reviews, giveaways, guest posts and more - all Autism related!  I'm working up to having one a day, I'm not quite there yet, so if you have an ASD related story to share, I'd love to hear from you about putting together a guest post!

You can also find the Autism Awareness archive that will eventually have all of this year's posts and does have a wealth of information and inspiration from last year's Autism Awareness Month!

If you have any questions you'd like to see addressed this month, please let me know and I will work towards finding an answer for you or finding an expert to answer it even better!

Feel free to grab the button from my sidebar and display it on your blog if you have space ---)

Don't forget to LIGHT IT UP BLUE tomorrow (April 2nd) and come back on Wordless Wednesday to see how we did!

Thanks for letting us know!
With the constant rise in children effected by autism this is such an important issue to raise awareness about!!
I used to teach preschool and had a little boy that was autistic. Such a hard thing to deal with as a teacher but he was so sweet!
Everyone should go out of their way to learn more and volunteer to do something nice for a family that has an autistic child or relative. It's tough and many people have no idea how tough.
Having taught special ed, I am all for autism awareness. It is a topic everyone should learn more about.

I feel Autism is something that we should all become aware so tolerance over differences is built to dissolve judgement and bullying over being different.

As a fellow autism mom, it's great you are doing this... i'm working on posts each day myself for autism awareness. Love your 'badge' that you made... going to share on my blog! :)
My recent post Gluten Free/Casein Free Diets
Autism Awareness is of the utmost importance. The sooner the affected child is identified and support is provided the better the outcome will be.
