1. Where do you go to get your news?

My Answers:


1. Where do you go to get your news?

Mostly online... I check our local newspaper, a Toronto paper, a Canada-wide paper, BBC News and occasionally Yahoo! News 

2. What Olympic level skill do you have (e.g. One could be a world-class paper clip bender)?

hmm... reading, procrastinating and sleep deprivation?

3. If I say the word, 'intellectual,' what do you think?

Someone who thinks before they speak ;-)

4. Who in your family do you look the most like?

Mostly like my mom and grandma

Do many Canadians on BBC for your news? I find that interesting! I go to BBC because they have more world events than the self-absorbed and sensationalist American media.

I would love an app in which you hold up your phone in the Adirondacks and the app calibrates your position and shows you the name of each mountain peak.

I would love for there to be an app that would link me up his my son's teachers so I know what is going on/what they need for class instead of relying on an 8yo to remember to give me papers.

I don't use apps on my phone, so any would be a novelty! How about an app that sounds an alarm the minute I begin eating junk food to remind me to put that trash down? That would be useful!

I don't use any phone apps either, but I think someone should invent one that will plan and prepare the evening meal each day :) Hey, a girl can dream, can't she???

I don't have a smart phone. I feel smart enough not spending the extra money on 5he data package. So, I guess my "ap" would be one for a dumb phone that makes it act like a smart phone without the extra charges on my bill. :)
