Bears hibernate in the winter... me, I do my best to hibernate in the summer... I was thinking about this very topic while I waited for Liam to come home on the bus on Wednesday, his first day of school and dripping in sweat without any exertion at all. As I watched the sweat roll off of me I contemplated just how long it would be until I'd be able to wait for the bus in the relative comfort of mid-70's or even mid-80's weather.
Actually, I'll retract part of my statement... what I really hate is humidity... it's the bane of my existence - my hair hates the humidity, I perspire like the dickens and the humidity makes me cranky...
I actually miss the nip of winter that I grew up with in Ontario, Canada... and snow too... but my family is here so here and living in SC affords us the opportunity for me to be a never-stay-at-home mom and for Liam to have great Autism services... so I'll put up with the heat and humidity ....
