Review and Giveaway: Extreme InterAction Alvin from PBS' hit series DINOSAUR TRAIN

We have a new friend in our house... and he talks and interacts with my kids and other dinosaurs!  Yep, I said dinosaurs... our new friend is Extreme InterAction Alvin (the Allosaurus) from DINOSAUR TRAIN!

Inspired by Jim Henson's hit PBS show, DINOSAUR TRAIN toys merge both dinosaur and train play for action-packed adventures. Create a world of prehistoric fun with collectible dinosaur figures, motorized train sets with lights and sounds, and InterAction figures that talk, sing, and roar together.

The newest figure- Extreme InterAction Alvin- comes to life around his Dinosaur Train InterAction friends; when one of them says the InterAction trigger word, Alvin crouches down low then launches forward at them. Complete with more than 50 fun dino sounds and phrases, Alvin takes InterAction to the extreme! For ages: 3 and up.

Our review: 

Alvin is so much fun!  He has become part of the family and both of my boys - Erik at 2 and Liam at 6, both take Alvin around the house and have him interact with everything from cars to trains to zoo animals!  It was so much fun to watch, that we had to go out and get Alvin a friend... we found Tank the Triceratops at Target and brought him home too!  What is really fun is watching Alvin and Tank interact on their own through an infrared scanner!   They compare features, habits and more ... oh and Alvin shows off his impressive jumping ability too!  The boys love them so much that the rest of the interactive dinosaurs from the hit show have been added to their birthday wish lists!

With 15 different dinosaurs available in the InterAction line, I can see us having a blast working on various hypotheses and learning more about dinosaurs!  If your children or grandchildren are fans of the PBS show, then these toys should be on your holiday giving list this year!!!
