While we haven't had much rain, it has cooled off enough to open the windows and turn off the A/C

We have had a crazy weather week too but Melbourne is known for four seasons in a day.
I hope your neighbourhood dries out a little.

Rain. What is that? We are in the RAINY season in Tegucigalpa, but not much has fallen lately. Of course, the good thing is we are missing the tropical storms and hurricanes.
We have had so much rain this summer it is unreal. I have never seen my garden this green and lush before at this time of year.

Rain, rain go away! The way the palm fronds are going off in all directions, says it was a bit windy too. Try to stay dry.

It's been raining like that here in Trinidad as well. I love rain, but geez, it's been a little too much. We've been having massive flooding. It's been scary and heartbreaking...people have lost their homes, belongings...two people even lost their lives.

Praying for the rains to stop falling so heavily...we are thankful for it, but I would love it to ease up a bit.

We hope to bring the sunshine when we visit in October. Can you ship the rain elsewhere like Texas!
Please send it our way -- we need it so badly! Have a happy Sunday, wet or otherwise.

For weeks we had rain storms come every evening. It was good for the garden and I am glad it wasn't during the day! Happy Sunday!
We have had hardly any rain for quite a while and it is raining today with some winds on the Oregon Coast. No big deal though. Stay safe where you are.

On the upside, the dryness means cracked tomatoes don't spoil - they just form a bit of skin that can be trimmed off and it's easy for me to get hte veggies bone dry before I freeze thm by just leaving them out for a bit. Still, teh clean air smell after a storm is so delightful.
It's hard to see, but I can tell from the cast of the pictures that it is there.

Love your pictures of the palm trees! I can't see the buckets of rain but we too had buckets of rain and lots of lightning/thunder! It was amazing! Thanks for this great post :)
