Sundays In My City

One of the hardest things about going to the Mall with my kids these days is that I have to go on a day when the Best Friend of Charleston Railway Museum is open... because both boys have a meltdown if we can't go in to play... and I don't blame them... look at all the cool things they have...

There is also a Model Train Club that meets next door to the museum and keeps the same hours... the boys are fascinated by that as well... I'll share it in a future Sunday in My City, but for now, I suggest you check out what else is going on in the world with:

I like trains too - big or small! :)
Happy Sunday!
My recent post kitchen helicopter and summer skies…
This looks like a fun way to keep the kids entertained. I am imagining that it would have been a frequent 'bribe' for my kids when they were younger.

This reminds me of the model train museum at Balboa Park.... I remember I went once by myself to see if it would entertain the kiddos and I got the strangest looks being there by myself. I always go once by myself since it can be a pain if it is not right... lol

I could enjoy this place - - - I LOVE trains.

We have a wooden train set table JUST LIKE the one fourth down from the top in our children's room at the library - - - it is usually a very busy little play station in that room!

Even my BIG boy would enjoy the train museum.
Very interesting, I love model trains. Greetings.
It must be hard to tear them away from that place. I'd stay for hours myself, for Thomas alone. Looks like great fun.

So cool! My son was a huge Thomas fan so I doubt we would have any success passing by that museum either.

Happy Sunday!

Such a fun little place for the kids (and young at heart). At least your boys now look forward to a mall trip and probably scamper to the car in aniticpation.
What a fun place to go. I don't blame the boys, I might just have a melt down too if I couldn't go in and play with the trains. Have a fun week.

That does look like a lot of fun! I don't blame them either, but I'm sure it makes it a little harder on you... Have a great week!
