1. Tell us a little bit about your blog:
Mommyland is a little of this and a little of that. I love sharing ways to save money with others as well as sharing tips for moms, I feel that many times we moms tend to forget to think about ourselves, so I try to remind moms that we are important too.
2. How long have you been blogging and what do you love about it?
I have had Mommyland for about 7 almost 8 years, I didn't start blogging on it until about 2010. I love sharing things with others and getting to know other moms who are like me.
3. Who is the person or group behind the blog?
I am Tamara Wilson, a mom to four children, 3 boys and 1 girl. We live in Washington state, Married to Ned for almost 11 years. I grew up in So Cal then when I met Ned he got a job at the Grand Coulee Dam so we had to move up here to show country. It took a lot to get use to now after 5 years I am good to go and ready for the winter. Still cant drive well in the snow, its ok I am glad hubby is good with it.
4. What hobbies/interests do you have?
I enjoy crafting, sewing, baking, cooking, gardening and reading. I get totally lost in books. I enjoy learning new things to do with my hands I have to keep them busy or I feel like I am just wasting time.
5. If you could invite 4 people (real or fictional, living or dead) to a dinner party, who would you invite and what would you serve?
Lets see first would have to be Jesus, then Beverly Lewis, George Lucas, and my grandma. I really miss her.
6. I can’t live without…
My scriptures, for me its my lifeline all the answers and support are in there. And my phone, everything else is in there, well I even have an app with the scriptures in it so I am never with out them.
7. Something people would be surprised to know about me is…
Hrm something that people would be surprised about me, to some it may surprise them that I am a birth mom to a set of twins who are 14. It isn't a secret or anything just one of those things that isn't brought up that much. Something others may be surprised at is that I was the first girl televised in a sporting event in Saudi Arabia. I was a BMX racer when we lived there, and one night they wanted to film the races live that evening, then they found out I was a girl and said no I couldn't race. After talking and figuring out that with the helmet on no one could tell. Ok fine. I put my pants on and sewn on the bottom was 'I'm A Girl' So like it or not everyone knew I was a girl.

I think one that I enjoy the most is Helping Children understand what is socially acceptable and what isn't, because there are so many children out there who just don't know I wanted to help parents understand that many times our children just don't know these things and its really easy to teach them http://www.mommyland.com/
