Six Word Saturday

Had a fabulous Girls Night Out!

I love my hubby and children dearly, but every once in a while it's nice to kick back and just hang with the girls! We went out on Thursday for an early night out - home by 9 but for a little over four hours, I was Heather - not mom, not wife, just me... and I actually spent almost 3 and a half hours in a restaurant without having to chase a child, wipe a nose or fish a car out of my purse.. heck I didn't even take my mom purse!

We ate sushi, had a drink and got to chat and blow off some much needed steam... and we're planning to go again soon!

Good for you! Every mom and wife needs a chance to rediscover what it's like to just be one of the girls for an evening. I hope you get to do it more often, sounds like a lovely time... and still home at a reasonable hour! :-)
