Five Question & Four Fill-In Friday

1. Who wakes up in the morning with the kids, you or hubby?

Hubby does the early morning shift most of the time... I am the one who gets to stay up late with my night owl.

2. Do you watch the World Series even if your team isn't in it?

No cable or satellite - so I don't watch it even if 'my' team is in it.

3. What is the best compliment you have received?

You're a great mom.

4. Do/did you dress up to take your kids trick or treating?

Yep!

5. Do you have a favorite bible verse? What is it and why?

I don't have one because I am not religious.

3. It’s been a long time since I went to bed early and had a good night's sleep... but it happened last night!

4. I just don’t understand math... thank goodness I don't have to tutor Robyn in it, because she's already beyond my capabilities...

My hubby is out the door by 5:15am, so I have to get the kids up. I am up and showered by 6am, then work on waking up the sleepily heads so they can make the school bus. Math is a nightmare in our house. Luckily I have an uncle who teaches math, and bless the invention of Skype!

I am glad to hear you had a good night,s sleep.
I am just back from Toronto! Had a great time at my conference and loved staying at a hotel. But since my roomie and I stayed up late talking, I didn't get any extra sleep. In fact, I got less than when I am home with the kids! LOL

oye! Math. meh. I remember my high school counselor very strongly advised me against dropping calculus in high school: "if you drop this course, you'll never be able to get a job where math is involved!"
Um, and your point is?
Irony? My job was in Payroll and Finance for the Federal Gov't. Ha!
I never got math either. I can do simple stuff, but algebra always escaped me. Taking it in college was the worst semester of my life.
I had a worse time with chemistry than I did with math. That stuff really went over my head! Glad you got your beauty rest. Have a lovely weekend.

I don't wear a costume, but I wear Halloween themed dee-lee-boppers or a Halloween shirt to give out candy. Sometimes when I think about the holidays I get homesick in that I miss my mom. She was a Christmas nut.

Yes, I didn't think I got maths either, then I worked in Finance in Sydney.... its a weird world!
I did have one tip about maths though, when the children and grands were starting out...... estimate an answer, and if our answer is way off, have another look at it.... and I agree with Arlene, chemistry is the only subject I ever failed in... didn't put in the time to learn all those symbols.
