It's been a busy week here in Charleston while Wayne is off in Germany and Switzerland... I've been hosting my parents, sister and aunt and we've been on the go every day doing the 'tourist' thing... I hope they've all had a good time!
I survived my first day of office volunteering last week - I only crashed their computer once and I think I only dropped one phone call... we'll see how week two goes - I'm there longer this time since the afternoon girl had a conflict.
Robyn and her friends are finding out how to be little fish in a big pond... for the first time in a long time, they aren't the only really smart, hardworking kids in school... and it's been a little humbling... Robyn is taking everything in stride and still loving the experience though!
I am not going to be a witch for Halloween this year! It's the first time in nearly 15 years... but I am doing a review for Costume Super Center soon and I'll be sporting this fine ensemble:
I am also doing another Champions For Kids Simple Project this week - we're collecting hygine care/toiletries and supplies for Low Country Orphan Relief! If you want to make a donation, please let me know! Organizing a CFK Simple Project is easy! Check out their website at http://championsforkids.org
One of the places we went on our tour of the Low Country was the Charleston Tea Plantation... and I fell in love with this sign in their gift shop - it reminds me so much of my grandmother:
Anyway, the boys have fallen asleep and I should too... busy day tomorrow! Visit Mrs. 4444 and the rest of the fraggles here:
