I'm a Just Dance 4 #CouchCritic for #cbias - and made a quick dinner too!

Wayne is just back from a week long trip to Germany and while he was gone we had my parents, sister and aunt as houseguests, which was fun for all, but meant that we haven't spent a lot of time as a family unit this week... so I decided to head out to Walmart and our local Redbox to pick up a few things including the new Just Dance 4 for Wii so we could spend the afternoon together...

Since I was focusing on spending time as a family, I didn't want food preparation to take away from being with Wayne and the kids so I opted for a really quick dinner option - frozen pizza, gourmet sausages for the adults and some fun mix and dip veggies for us all!

I have to admit, it wasn't the most creative supper, but focusing on family rather than food seemed to be the order of the day... and the kids enjoyed the pizza and getting to eat in front of the tv...

I love that Walmart is so affordable and that I was able to get all of the yummy food on my list for less than $20You can check out what I picked up for dessert and learn more about the whole shop by checking out my google plus story!

The afternoon was almost a bust from the start, because I didn't check out Redbox online before I headed out - and they were out of Just Dance 4 at the machine inside Walmart... luckily I had my phone and didn't have to stop at every Redbox kiosk in the Charleston area - I just had to find one that was close and I could reserve my copy on...  I highly recommend that you reserve what you want from www.redbox.com - before leaving the house - but the mobile site worked great for me!  You can also keep up with Redbox on Facebook and Twitter.

With Just Dance 4 in hand, I headed home and we got that family time we needed...

I have to say that we would probably not invest in Just Dance 4 for our permanent collection... it wasn't exactly our favorite version of the game, but it was great for an afternoon of family fun and got us all up moving and grooving and laughing together!

My full review will be going up soon on http://www.couchcritics.us and you can also find other great movie, game and TV reviews on there!

I'm glad that I was able to focus on family today and make some fun new memories with everyone... what did you do with your family this weekend?

Looks like your kids had fun. I like Wayne relaxing in the background instead of 'dancing'. LOL

Sounds like you had a lot of fun. I miss the days when the kids were little and pizza and tv movies were fun. Great ideas. I don't have a Walmart close. It is about 30 minutes or so away. But I will check out their food next time I go. Thanks for sharing!

Aww, sorry to hear you didn't like Just Dance 4. I've been wanting to get something like this for my daughter on for those cold, snowy days that are soon to come!

I haven't tried Redbox just yet - I 'm worried about getting the video back in time. It's pretty neat that you could go to Walmart for food and snacks and the to Redbox which was really close. My Giant Eagle has a Redbox right outside of the entrance doors. There is always a line at that machine.
