My Review:
You know that a book will be good when you want to meet the characters in person and have them over to dinner.. and Mary Whitney's characters come through as people you want to know. Stephen is charismatic, charming and well written. Anne is also smart and independent and a great foil. Even the secondary characters are thoughtfully written and give you the level of depth you need to really dive right into the story.
I've only visited Washington DC briefly, but the locale is exactly what I expected to read about in a political romance and I felt like I was transported to DC every time I picked up this book.
