1. Do you decorate outdoors for the holidays?

Yes, I put out lights and we decorate one of the Palmettos out front too...

2. What is the best thing about office Christmas parties?

For me, as a never-stay-at-home mom, going to Wayne's office party is a chance to actually interact with adults for a while!

3. Gloves or Mittens?

Mittens!!!

4. What do you think of Secret Santas?

I think Secret Santa can be great - especially when everyone is on the same page... but it's tough when someone lets the whole group down.

OH my favorite (my son's as well) are the Christmas Tree cookies from the old fashioned (you have to hand crank it) Mirro Cookie Press. I can make him those for Christmas and he would flip out excited. I make them now with my daughter as a holiday tradition. LOVE them.

During this time of year my favorite cookie is Wedding Balls. At least that is what we've always called them or some times Snow Balls. A butter cookie shaped in a ball with walnuts in it then tossed in powdered sugar.

Gingerbread! I like them soft, but a cookie, not a cake or bar, with frosting.

My gingerbread cookies were perfect last year, but it was a great cookie year for me; I had to make more for Christmas because we ended up needing extra at our party a week earlier. I have been tweaking my gingerbread recipe for years hoping to get THOSE cookies. Now we see this year if that was a fluke or I can actually say MY gingerbread cookies are my favorite. :)
