My favorite wine of all time is actually Kittling Ridge ice wine from near my home in Ontario, Canada - something that I was introduced to when I was much younger, and that I buy as a special occasion wine whenever I get home. They also make an ice wine brandy that is to die for... especially when poured over vanilla ice cream, but that's a story for another post. Unlike most of the other wines out there, ice wine is incredibly sweet and unlike anything else you've ever tasted... and it's one of those wines that calls for a special place and time... but for every day, I usually enjoy a Shiraz or a Merlot when I shop for a red wine, and a nice Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio when I'm looking for a white... but I'd love to be able to branch out and try more new things and that's where likelii.com comes in!
Finding a site like likelii.com allows me to take what I know that I like - certain types of wine and contries/regions that I have liked wines from - and uses what it knows to recommend wines I might like to try! I can look for reds, whites or both and I can tweak my preferences as I go! Not unlike Netflix or Spotify for movies and music, Likelii.com learns about what you like and don't like and makes recommendations you can use to find your next favorite! You can buy right on the site, or print out and take your list to your local wine store! The other thing that I like is that likelii.com is women-founded and women-lead!
And now, there's an even better reason for trying out Likelii - you could win a $100 GC!
1. Try the recommendation engine by entering one or two wines on the homepage that you have liked in the past
2. Get Recommendations and see how we did!
3. Fill out a brief survey on your experience by clicking on the Feedback page (see the tab on the left)
