A few weeks ago I introduced you to a youtube clip by one of my old acquaintances/friends from my university/Society for Creative Anachronism days... and now I'd love to introduce you to some more of her music, but before I do, she has a plight and an issue that she's battling Youtube with that I'd like to share with you:

Well, that's a darn shame. Is her music copyrighted? If so, I would think that's the only thing she needs to send to You Tube that she owns it or maybe they just don't let people make money off of You Tube & if there was money to be had it's evident they have a monopoly on their company. Her songs are beautiful thanks for sharing and playing along with us. Have a great day.

Heather Dale is one of my favorite singers. A friend sent me "The Trial of Lancelot" for Christmas one year and I listen to it regularly. And "Mordred's Lullaby" is one of my favorites. I wanted to sing it to the boys when they were babies, but my husband wouldn't let me. :-D (Did you notice that I used "Culhwch and Olwen" last week?)

As for what's happening to her with YouTube... that's insane. I hope that things get worked out for her. I'm going to share her message with friends on Facebook. I don't know how much it will help, but getting the word out is good in general.

I had to go peruse YouTube and check Heather Dale out... :) LOVE the beauty of her songs - not to mention that people have used her songs to make their own videos... I sure hope she gets YouTube squared away, she should be allowed to make money off her hard (and beautiful) work! Thanks so much for the introduction! :)

What a nice introduction to an unknown wanna-be musician! I hope Heather Dale gets the situation with YouTube smoothed out. I don't know how that all works, but it would be amazing if inspiring artists could earn some change every time someone listened to his/her music. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Heather Dale and will be taking a look at more of her YouTube stuff.
