SIMC: Yo Gabba Gabba Live!

Last Sunday was a special day here in Charleston!  The whole Yo Gabba Gabba Live crew arrived at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center and spent nearly two hours enthralling the audience of preschoolers and parents alike!

The current theme is Get Your Sillies out and there are still more than a dozen stops coming up across the US - including Texas, California, Florida, Oregon, Louisiana!

Robyn and I took Liam and Erik to the show and boy did they ever get their sillies out!  They jumped, danced, shouted, laughed and barely ever sat down... except during the intermission!

The boys loved all the songs - including the Hug Song, Yummy in my Tummy and Hold Still!

They also had a fabulous time with all of the fun 'confetti explosions', bubbles and other special effects

We always have a good time at the Yo Gabba Gabba live shows - I know before we go that we're going into get a high quality, high energy performance that will enthrall your toddler or preschooler and make moms and dads smile too!  Each of the two acts was just the right length - time enough to keep the kids interested and a twenty minute intermission that was perfect for a restroom break and a quick stretch of the legs before coming back for even more fun!

My favorite part was the "Super Music Friends Show" segment that featured a really fun Saxophone player and a singer that really got the kids pumped up!  I was so into it that I forgot to snap a pic of them...

If Yo Gabba Gabba Live: Get Your Sillies out is coming to a city near you, I highly recommend grabbing your favorite preschooler and checking out the show!

I have no kids to take even if it were coming to a city near me which thankfully it isn't 'cause I would probably go see it all by my lonesome!! That really looks like a fun time!!
