A Funny Thing Happened....

You never know when life is going to hand you a funny teachable moment... sometimes it's driving down the road having a simple conversation with your child about what he wants for lunch...

Me: Do you want chicken nuggets or a burger for lunch?

Erik: A burger

Me: Do you want a plain burger or do you want ketchup and mustard on it?

Erik: I want an Airplane burger - fly!!

It was time for a quick homonym lesson... plain vs. plane... he was disappointed that his burger wouldn't fly, but he ate 2/3 of it so I guess I got it right :-)
