1. February 10th is Clean Out Your Computer Day! It's is a day to logically review, and delete old files and programs. Will you be taking part?

2. February is also National Grapefruit Month - are you a grapefruit lover? Recipes?

3. Are you watching the Olympics? What events hold your interest or are you just ignoring the whole thing?

4. Valentine's Day is Friday - are you planning to celebrate?

Our Responses

1. February 10th is Clean Out Your Computer Day! It's is a day to logically review, and delete old files and programs. Will you be taking part?

W - I guess I should participate, but I am so busy that I probably won't get to it.

H - The kids barely let me check my email, let alone take time to clean out the computer... a nice dream though!

2. February is also National Grapefruit Month - are you a grapefruit lover? Recipes?

W - I am not a fan of grapefruit

H - I only eat grapefruit when my mom comes to visit... then we split one... no recipes here.

3. Are you watching the Olympics? What events hold your interest or are you just ignoring the whole thing?

W - because we don't have cable, I can only keep up with a bit of the Olympics... plus being an ex-pat means watching American commentary rather than Canadian... so I am only paying minor attention to it this year.

H - I am keeping up by reading on the internet and occasionally catching something on tape delay on NBC, but I really wish that I could access Canadian feeds during the Olympics...

4. Valentine's Day is Friday - are you planning to celebrate?

W - I completely forgot it was happening... if I realize what day it is, I will probably wish Heather a happy Valentine's day.

H - I am helping the boys make their Valentines and I will be baking for their classes... maybe I will have time to do something for Wayne :-)

The first part of this week is expected to be cold and snowy. I just hope it doesn't stay around long & that the temps don't get too bitter. At the moment the temp is 34°. I don't think it's suppose to get much warmer than that, either. *BLAH* Speaking of V-Day I remember one Valentine's when the weather was horribly snowy. This was when I worked outside the home in my B.C. (before children) days. The skies opened up and dumped several inches of wet fluffy on everything. The streets were an icy mess. People, other than me, were trying to get home and wrecking all over the place. DH took me to work that morning, and decided to wait the traffic rush out to pick me up later in the day, which was a smart move on his part because we had no trouble getting him as the streets were practically empty. Here's hoping you guys have a nice V-Day. Do something simple to celebrate your undying affections for each other! You'll be happy that you did. ;)

Thanks for hosting, even though we weren't able to link up today.
Our weather is beautiful, today. Tomorrow we're expecting more rain and cold weather :(
I hope you and Wayne manage to 'make time' to show each other you're special on Valentine's Day. After all, it's a day to celebrate those we love :)

The weekend was super sunny but very cold. Hard to believe that overnight it's raining like crazy now.

Weathers cold and me no likey. I refuse to go back out tonight to go to the gym. REFUSE! Now I have to think of something to eat here too while I'm at it. Ice tomorrow. They haven't shut the clinic down so I guess I gotta go in at 6 AM as usual.
