Here are the Questions:

1. National frozen food day is this week - are you a big frozen food shopper?  Do you freeze your own veggies or fruit?

2. What annoys you?

3. It's Wine and Food Festival week here in Charleston, do you have a favorite type of wine?

4. What do you think is an appropriate age for a first cell phone?

Our Responses

1. National frozen food day is this week - are you a big frozen food shopper?  Do you freeze your own veggies or fruit?

H - Wayne loves him some frozen chicken wings and the boys are glad I keep frozen pizza, but I am mostly glad that I can stock up on great meat deals and freeze them when meat is cheap!

W - I eat too much processed food.  I have got to get better at that.

2. What annoys you?

H - I am sure Wayne has a litany of ideas for this question that involve me, his students etc... but what annoys me is finally finding a product I like only to have it discontinued!

W - I get annoyed when I do a good deed and it ends up blowing up in my face.

3. It's Wine and Food Festival week here in Charleston, do you have a favorite type of wine?

H - Wayne doesn't particularly like wine,  but he'll sip the occasional Pinot Gris or Ice Wine... me, I'm an equal opportunity wino... red, white, sweet, dry... the only thing I am not partial to is champagne and sparkling wines.

W. I really don't like to drink just about any alcohol but Heather is right, in a pinch I don't mind a Pinot Gris.

4. What do you think is an appropriate age for a first cell phone?

H - Robyn got her first phone, a basic one, when she started middle school and was starting to be independent in places where there was no phone she could borrow easily... so I think 11-12 is probably the right time...

W. I happen to agree with Heather.
And here is our 5th Question:

The first sign of spring is buds of white Japanese apricot trees.

I think seeing the first robin is a sign of spring.
Our signs, that spring is near, are the blooming of the Japanese Magnolia trees--and the first robins, of course!
    Thanks for hosting :)
Oddly, when I see daffodils and tulips peaking through the soil mid to late February. Of course, the end of February is a long way off til the first day of spring, but I can't help to think happy thoughts when I do see life return to the earth. I didn't spot daffodils in bloom last month, I guess it's just been too cold this year. Come on spring, we're waiting for you! Thanks for hosting the fun. :)
You know I'm not even really sure. I already see pollen everywhere and we've had quite some warm days. I just want summer to be here!! I'm cold.
